We provide on-line or in-person training for employers, educators, groups, and individuals who want to learn more about accessibility, cultural awareness, communication, and universal design in the workplace.
Training sessions are designed to generate meaningful discussions and concrete solutions for a respectful and cohesive workplace. They are delivered through a intersectional, decolonization, and anti-oppressive lens grounded in evidence-based research.
We are also in the process of creating online-courses that can purchased and delivered conveniently and independently.​​​​

Training Opportunities
​​Accessibility Fundamentals
This foundational workshop unpacks how we define accessibility, disability, reasonable accommodations, and the duty to accommodate. This is a jumping point for exploring more specific questions about accessibility in the workplace.
Accessibility for Mental Health
​This workshop addresses the increasing need for mental health accommodations in the workplace. This session will discuss the unpredictable nature of mental health, reasonable accommodations and how to handle unexpected mental health disclosures.

Universal Design Concepts
Get perspectives on how to structure a workspace that will include diverse perspectives and support the different ways people work and learn. This workshop will also discuss social responsibilities and working within systemic limitations.

Bridging the Empathy Gap
Learn how to increase your understanding and demonstrate empathy for people with different lived experiences, cultures, values and communication styles.

Bridging the Cultural Communication Gap
Explore the interactions between our own cultural identities, Canadian culture and workplace cultural expectations and what to do when cultures clash.
Bridging the Generational Gap
From Gen Z to Baby Boomers, the history of employment has never seen such a wide range in generational perspectives. This workshop is an opportunity compare and contrast generational biases, attitudes and workplace expectations and explore we can learn from each other's strengths in the workplace.
